The difference between normal walking and Nordic Walking is obviously: not only the legs are used here but also shoulders, pecs and arms are trimmed and strenghtened and further more tensions can be released. Additionally the callorie consumption is much higher. Moreover not that much equipment is needed to become a Nordic Walker. Pichl-Reiteralm offers the largest Nordic walking network in the Alps. From the coming summer season on, they suggest the first verified Nordic walking carousel with six splendid routes. The trail with a length of four to nine kilometres and with different levels of difficulty, lead through the lovely countryside. Also, all tours are suitable for families.
