The level of popularity of the region Schladming-Dachstein within the international snowboarding-scene is quite high. The possibilities for snowboard freaks are never ending: freeskiing, backcountry or easy cruising. Furthermore, there is the Atomic super park on the Dachstein glacier, a true paradise for freestyle insiders. Simply a must is the Edelgriess downhill on the Dachstein south flank through gorges and over cliffs. An 18km run, from the top of the glacier down to Ramsau.
